UREMS 2018-19 EMT-B Course Application

Due Sunday, September 9th @ 11:59 PM

The class will begin on Monday 9/17/18 with a CPR certification course. It will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm- 10:00pm until late April. Additionally, students may be required to attend training sessions on select Saturdays (likely 10/27 and 2/9) to prepare for the EMT test and receive addition certifications including EVOC and TECC. Further information on scheduling will be provided closer to the start of the class.

The cost of the class will be $625 for UR students and $950 for non-University of Richmond students. The book for the course will be Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured 11th edition (Essentials package $270 - Premiere package $450). In terms of certification, CPR, EVOC, and TECC certifications are free (included in course), the psychomotor examination will cost $50, and the written test is free the first time you take it. Funding from the University of Richmond has allowed us to subsidize the expense of the class to well below national average for UR students.
