UREMS EMT-B Course Application

The class will begin in September 2023 with a CPR certification course. Additionally, students may be required to attend training sessions on select Saturdays to prepare for the EMT test and receive addition certifications including EVOC. Further information on scheduling will be provided closer to the start of the class.

The cost of the class will be $960 for University of Richmond students. The book for the course will be Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured 12th edition (E-Book is $200.96, hard copy of book is $232.46). In terms of certification, CPR, and EVOC, certifications are free (included in course), the psychomotor examination will be free, and the written test is free the first time you take it.
