Safety Walk Sign-Up
The University is looking for some students to help us out with the Spring Campus Safety Walk on Monday, April 16, 2018 starting at 7:30pm from the Police Department. The Safety Walk is a great way to see the campus in a different light, so to speak. During the event, participants go through a list of possible safety issues, such as lighting, signage, or too much vegetation while also suggesting safety improvements. There will be light refreshments beforehand and the walk should be roughly an hour. This is an excellent way to create safety awareness and support crime prevention at Uof R. We are looking for 10 students to assist with the walk.
